Material Movement Report

Hi experts

Can any body tell me how can i make Material Movement Report. Its a straight question but i just need to know how can i calculate opening balances .. is there any table where opening balances for each item stores ? or what are the tables where opening, receiving , issues are stores.
is there any example can any body give me .. for or any help would be appricaitable.
