Secondary Tracking segment

Hi,

Can u tell me how secondary tracking system is usefull in oracle financials. By enabling it to the cost centre what additional information it should capture where we can see it. Plz tel me with one example

if you Enable secondary tracking segment for cost centre, when you do period end closing process or consoldation, revaluation or translation that time you can able to view additional information pertaining to the cost centers,means if you have one cost center enabled (prodution department) you can able to get the seperate accouting information about all the units coming under that
production department,

If you have operation regions wise for the cost center you can able to view information pertaining to the north region, south region , west region and east region seperatelely

Hai, Secondary track segment is also act as just like Balancing Segment. If u assign the Balancing Segment qualifier to company it will capture the Balancing segment information in what values we have entered.

If u want capture additional information other than balancing segment and cost centre wise u just assign the secondary track segment qulifier to Cost centre Segment. U can capture the information Cost centre wise also.
