Hi All,

I have a problem regarding our office supplies valuation account, by the way we are using average costing then requirement in accounting dept is to separate the valuation account to the valuation account of merchandise Inventory. My question is how change the valuation account in the subinventory level because as you define subinv the valuation account is defaulted to the account setup in the organization parameter and it cannot be change. We have to track the quantity and the valuation of our office supplies because we purchase in bulk.

Which version are you using? if you are on R12, then you can do SLA customization as per requirement to get the separate account for inventory valuation, as in seeded setup for average costing you can't get the separate valuation account.
