Hi Everybody,
I am a fresher in Oracle apps. working as a Trainee Mfg. Consultat.Can anybody send some scenarios in BOM and WIP?

Thanks for your reply. I know how to create a Bill and Routing,How to perform Discrete Jobs in WIP.
I need some information on BOM ,WIP and Inventory.Please send me if you have any other material.

Hi ,
Could you please tell anyone about changes made in WIP module from 11.0.3 version to 11.5.9.Majorly i wnat know about the tables differences.

ok , here are few scenarios -
1. Bom is created with routing , The WIP is going on and one item is now revised. The item(component) revision A is lying on the shop floor and the correct revision no B is the right one to use from today..how will you handle this?
2. How will you use a KANBAN based work order
3. During WIP if there is a material shortage can I auto-release a PO?
4. Can WIP take inouts from a Sales forecast
5. After WIP completion transaction , how do I determins that this WIP is linked to which Sales Order.
