Apps rep prev-Enter char shown as an eight note

hello there. i'm new in report programming for oracle apps. would just like to ask if i need to set something in the admin side of oracle apps. i've previewed the output of a report request, txt output format, and the enter key is displayed as a musical note.

it seems that u have developed the report in bitmap format and register it as text.check it.

hello there atif. thanks for the info..
by the way, i've created my report in Report Builder 9.0.4.0.33
report mode is set to character
registered it in apps 11.5.10.2 as TXT output
although i started with creating the report with mode set to default but then removed the initially create report layout, set the mode to character then created the layout again.

i also tried viewing the output of other seeded report in apps and they also have same char for the line feed.
