Hi,

As per my clients need i created a docment sequence for a particular category for entire YEAR and also end-dated it in definition screen
ie,. enddate is 31-mar-2010.

Now the client wants to change the sequence.
On the first hand is it possible to create another DocSeq for same category????
Is there any work around available??????

You can end date the current sequence and create another. Remember that begin and end dates must not overlap.

The main concern is that the new sequence to be created is of the same period ie., it Should have same BEGIN and END date as that of the old sequence.

Is there any workaround /solution fro this.????

I don't think so. I cannot more than one active sequence for a category. How would the system know which one to pick when numbering?
