Hi,

In R12, while doing Reservation , am getting error message as"APP-ONT-251272: You must schedule the line before attempting to reserve in reservations form". Even i have given scheduled date & saved it. but stil its allowing it to open reservation form. pls provide some tips.

Currently i am not working with Order Management , but had some prior exp trying to resolve Scheduling related problems. Please find the checklist with possible causes for the problem

The schedule date should be populated based on your ATP and Collections.In case ATP Rule is attached and ODS Load not run


1.Check Sales Order->Lines->Tools > scheduling > reserve.

2.Check if profile options correctly set for Scheduling (refer Auto Scheduling feature)

3.Check ODS and Collection Plan has been run sucessfully
(Scheduling->ATP Data Collection)

4.Check Workflow status and ensure if Deferred Mode is on , then run Workflow Background Process

5.Check Item Attributed for Reservable / ATP Rule

Thanks for ur Update. Sorry. i have typed it by mistake. its "Even i have given scheduled date & saved it. but still its not allowing it to open reservation form".
When am trying to do Reservation through "Sales Order->Lines->Tools > scheduling > reserve". Its throwing error message as "APP-ONT-251272: You must schedule the line before attempting to reserve in reservations form".
even in sales order "Availability" box, not showing any details.ie. Quantity even on hand stock exist.
Kindly help me.
