what is difference between balancing segment and management segment?

Balancing segment is something which is used for Balancing your books i.e., Company. and

Where as Management segment is a segment which is used for capturing additional reporting information.

what is management segment
11.10.5.2 version

only we have 5 flexfield qualifiers

can tell me what is the management segment
