Oracle Applications DBA required for a dynamic company, to be jointly responsible for the operation and support of the Oracle based system. Candidates must demonstrate problem solving skills and experience of supporting large end user productions systems (5000+ users). Extensive experience with Oracle RDBMS including 10G is essential, as is experience with Oracle core products (SQL*Net/NET8, export/import, SQLPlus, cloning and replication). Candidates will also show experience with Oracle Applications 11i covering versions up to 11.5.10. Candidates will need experience with UNIX Operating systems and an in depth knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL scripting. Excellent communication skills and a strong self-management capability are strongly regarded with my client, as is flexibility and being able to adapt to changing business requirements.
