want script for backup

Hi guys
request for

1) I need a script for taling database from server to other termnal, for that i need a shell script . when i run the script the backup should be stored with in the local system.ok.
2) I want the backup file name as backup|$present_date.dmp(present_date should be automated from local variable) like this format so that there is no need of giving the backup filename every time.
