the parameter EXPIRE_TIME parameter in sqlnet.ora file will enable DCD.
SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME is set in minutes. if the value is set to non zero value DCD(detect dead connections) is enabled. It detects and kills the dead inactive SQLNET session.

Hi, first you need to increase the no. of sessions and processes in your database. these two parameters are in init.ora file.
by default processes are 400 -- double the the value to 800
and sessions are 200 -- double the value to 400

whereas about your query, you can kill inactive or dead sessions ...

Shutdown the concurrent manager windows service using
?net stop OracleConcMgr[your instance name]?
on command prompt,
for example
?net stop OracleConcMgrITB2#8243;

Make sure no FNDLIBR processes are running by checking this on Windows Task Manager, Processes tab.

Hi, in EBS the session time out limit is 30 minutes by default, meaning that when a user after logging in to his account donot access it or browse it for 30 minutes the login session times out.
