The Inventory Should be Active
and I'm not talking about the status but in the subinventory Form You can find the field "Inactive On" this field Should be Null or Blank to be able to use it

U can do that Using System Administrator Responsibility To Execlude The Function Book Order From That responsibility

1- Go to System Administrator >> Security >> Responsilbility >> Define
and Define a new Responsibility using the Original Menu "ONT_SUPER_USER"

Regarding the serial controlled manufactured items which tracked through the shop floor-i means that u control the item with serial within the production area-will not be tracked in the standard WIP module
But u can handle it through the Mobile WIP application using telnet technology
