Only solution can be like this
Create a dummy-invoice of 4000
Apply prepayment to it .
now remaining 2000 will be left for that invoice.
Make a zero payment i.e.
while making Payment select Dummy Invoice and Credit memo and make a payment .
For making payment u can use dummy bank or if u ...

We are using Oracle 12 i in our company ,problem is that after closing the period we came to know that System is generating wrong intracompany enteries .Now i need help for what can be done to resolve this issue.

1. Complete All Transactions for the Period Being Closed
2. Run the Payables Auto Approval Process for All Invoices / Invoice Batches
3. Review & Resolve Amounts to Post to the General Ledger
4. Reconcile Payments ...

Our functional currency is INR, invoice is entered in USD, is it possible to pay this invoice in AUD

If your bank is enabled with Multiple currency Feature, I think you can do the payment in Aud.

Setup --> Payments --> Bank --> Payables Option Tab --> Enable Multiple Currencies
